Winlog Pro supports communication with most of electronic instruments available on the market (PLCs, controllers, indicators, I/O modules, etc.) thanks to an extensive library of native communication drivers and to the OPC Client interface. 

OPC (OLE for Process Control) is an industrial standard, created by main worldwide leading automation manufacturers, that allows data exchange between different software components without need of any special adjustment. OPC Client driver supports data access (DA) to OPC servers DA 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0; it can interface both local OPC Servers located on the same PC (through COM objects) and remote OPC Servers (through DCOM objects) located on different PCs linked to the same LAN. 

Both native communication drivers and OPC Client interface are included in the basic Winlog Pro package. In Winlog Pro new version all communication drivers have been revised, in order to uniform the configuration of the various protocols. New communication protocols were also included, such as M-Bus protocol and Mitsubishi MELSEC.

SCADA software Winlog Pro provides a new web support

Sielco Sistemi is pleased to announce the new version of its SCADA software Winlog Pro for an easy creation of SCADA applications with a Web Server support, that can be accessed by any Internet Client with a standard browser such as Internet Explorer. Based on Java and LightTPD technologies, the Winlog Pro Webserver solution guarantees the absolute safety of data and the full independence of the Winlog Pro application from the Web Server support running in a protect environment (sandbox). SCADA applications with a Web Server support can be easily created thanks to the new series of W-NET development licenses with capacity increasing from 256 to 65536 tags. Functions, development tools and communication protocols are provided without any restriction by all Winlog Pro development licenses, independently from the capacity (number of tags) or the Web Server support.
